What'S With All The "Booms"? Sattahip Seems To Be Busy!

Was woken up this morning with my windows rattling. The booms have been going all morning. I'm guessing the boys down in Sattahip are busy having fun today. Anybody else hear this??? Just had a huge one that shook the windows again!

Hoping this isn't an invasion by Cambodia!!!

We can hear them up here by the lake on the Darkside.

At first I thought they werer thunder claps, but they are shaking the house.

My dogs are terrified.

Loud explosions and big bangs all morning since around 7.30 thought at first it was thunder but am assured that it is the Navy doing live firing, very unusual for it to go on so long though.

Just had a series of some really loud ones. Almost a constant barrage now.

Loud and clear this morning in Huay Yai too, probably stopped for lunch now!

The Sattahip based navy is doing pretty intensive training at the moment.

Closer to Pattaya, they are doing parachuting training as well, with the drop zone not far from the Bira circuit. You can actually see them descending under their parachutes from the Mabprachan area.
