Advice please.

I have just received my new British passport (not a bad service, only 2 weeks) as my previous passport run out of pages. I need to transfer the 'extension to stay' stamp into the new passport.

1) Do I need a letter from the British embassy?

2) Do I have to go to CW Immigration or can this be sorted at the airport when I exit on my next trip?

You need to do it at immigration and have the receipt for your passport fees. The UK embassy does not issue a letter but immigration will accept the receipt.

I never required a receipt, just the new and old passports.
