Cambodian man and 7 year old child arrested by Pattaya Police

PATTAYA:--Complaints from Tourists regarding a man seen hitting a young child in Soi 10 off Pattaya Beach Road were dealt with by Pattaya Police who arrested a 27 year old Cambodian Man and took a 7 year old Cambodian boy into care.

The case was handed over to the Region 2 Child and Women Protection Unit who interviewed the boy who revealed how he had come to Thailand with his Grandmother who had already been arrested and deported. He was then befriended by the 27 year old man, Mr. Char who used the boy to beg for money from foreign tourists.

It is claimed that he would repeatedly hit the boy if he failed to collect enough money however Mr. Char claimed he only placed his hand over his mouth when the boy cried to avoid attention from others, knowing they were both illegal immigrants.

He should be let free at Pattaya Nua on beach rd. and made to walk down the street to Walking St. so everyone could beat or stone him and this should be a public event. Child slavery MUST stop and the only way to show future losers is to impose the worst penalties possible, Public Humiliation.
