No it is long proofed. Since the Soviets developed it. But the problem is. that you need clouds that carry enough water. These you can seed so they rain out some water.

The reason that we have droughts and weather extremes all over the world is because of the irresponsible discharge of green house gases into the atmosphere by America, China and India predominantly. There is a lack of willingness to combat this as the politicians are in the palms of big industry as they get their backing in the form of pre-election funding and are frightened to upset them!!!

exactly! Still not smart to use the oil and finance countries like Saudi Arabia with the money. But the effect on the climate is minimal. And the solution would be to plant forests not to ban cars.

No it isn't his invention, it is an older technology, he made it practical working. It existed in a way to expensive version already before in Soviet and USA. But using pure AgNO3 just made it too expensive to use. Soviet used it for the 1st May parades to remove the clouts before they reach Moskwa.

What a joke! Cloud-seeding has been scientifically shown to be ineffective. It does not work. If it happens to rain, they'll take credit of course. If it doesn't, they'll probably blame some ghosts.

Interesting reading.

Unable to draw an absolute yes/no conclusion from it, but it does tend to point to if you seed a cloud to produce precipitation, it has to be a cloud capable of doing so, and if you seed a cloud and it does rain, there's a good chance it was probably going to rain anyway.
