As the heading says, I'm looking for the best deal around town in either the computer stores or superstores on a 2 tb external hard drive. Has anyone seen one in their travels recently to save me running around town?? There is nothing I hate more than shopping.....unless it's watching my wife shop.

I haven't ordered from Invade IT because they didn't have the particular item I was looking for. However I found them to be responsive and helpful.

BTW, I keep an eye out for these things and have found that prices are pretty much the same everywhere for new models. Sometimes, though, an out-going model is sold at full price in one place but discounted elsewhere.

What are 1TB HDD's and external HD's running for these days ? I'm about in the market for one probably in the next month. Appreciate if anyone's seen prices recently. I'll check the TV sponsor now too.

Thanks for the tip SBK and I may go with them, as they do have a lot of options, but it's almost as much trouble to order, send pmt by postal and then wait for a few days in the postal.

My last HD was a 1tb acer that was on sale at Tesco and much lower than panthip and other retail outlets here in CM and was hoping to find a similar deal.......so still looking for my 2TB external......

I just realized that I have no idea how to find the advertisers here. I was going to check out Invade IT and don't see it anywhere. Is there a quick link for advertisers?

I think that their ad is on the thaivisa internet forum, or do as I did and google it......but would still like to find a decent deal locally, as I'm spoiled by instant gratification and hate to wait and take a chance on mail being delayed by holidays or floods.

Computer Plaza or Icon Square, north side of moat are both cheaper than Panthip ... prolly coz they cater to CMU students.
