August 5, 201213 yr Since my steed is something in between 15 and 25 yo. I decided to changed all the fuel lines, they were in poor shape. Got some fuel hoses from www.louis.de like I used back home since 15 years, never any troubles Now thats how they look like after 4 months only, never been exposed to excessive sun, never used gasohol and stuff, PTT benzine only https://plus.google....133530910313186 Anyone know what happened to my fuel lines? Any advice which lines to take for replacement where to get them in Bangkok? Thanks

August 5, 201213 yr That looks like Ozone cracking. Maybe they sold you old hose. Some places will thin down the gasoline with toluene....which is paint thinner. Toluene is cheaper to buy in bulk.
August 7, 201213 yr That doesn't look like the fuel has caused the problem, looks more like the hoses are old and have spent too much time in the sun.
August 7, 201213 yr The cause is heat & direct sunlight Maybe they had not been the best quality in the first place, they should last 10 or more years inf nor exposed to excess heat or direct sunlight
