Where Can I Buy A Camping Mattress In Chiang Mai?

Where can I buy a camping mattress in Chiang Mai?

(I'm going to use it temporarily as a mattress topper on my hard Thai bed).

Try the archery range at star dome they seem to have a lot of camping stuff.

Going west along the south side of the moat you will come to where you have to go either right or left straight ahead you will see the sign for star dome. Go to the left and make the first u turn to come back to it. When you enter the parking area you will see the archery off to your left.

Good luck

I asked almost the same question a few weeks ago on this forum and got no advice. However, I did ask about an "Inflatable mattress." Not a camping mattress.

I was in the states at the time and was sleeping on one at my brothers house. It was so comfortable I knew right away that I had to have one. I have a bad back and have not found another mattress that let me wake up feeling as good.

To make a long story short, I went to the sporting goods shop where my brother purchased his and bought the same queen size model. It cost $89.00 and has a built in air pump. I wanted a king size but couldn't find one in stock. It's an INTEX brand and I am very happy with it.

It you purchase one with a built in pump you will need a transformer because it uses 110-120 current.

You can see one here along with others at Amazon.

They sell tents and camping stuff at KSK, 4th floor I think.

KSK is Kad Suan Khao for those not in the know. It's the department store thingy on the north west side of the moat

The sports section in both Robinson Airport Plaza or Central KSK

Not sure where you can get in but you need a "Thermarest"'

Tesco also has those "picnic" (that's what my Thai friend called it) thingies, but they're an odd width. One is too small for a queen, and two are too much. Two might work on a king. I think I paid 800 for the one on my single bed, and it was okay.
