prog
Sorry, no advice to offer, but I have a question that could go under this topic heading too. Is it worth bringing a ps3, wii, plasma and the like with me to Thailand. The cost of shipping does not come into play since I am not paying, just whether it is worth the hassle of converters and all that.
astral
Many units are universal power now 100-240V Check the documentation Power adapter for WII and PS3 are easy to obtain and the games will be compatible with the TV's in LOS The TV is a little more difficult. It will not be compatible with terrestrial broadcast TV, but should work with a satellite box so your decision.
lomatopo
Most game consoles purchased in the U.S. use 110/60 only bricks (AC to DC adapters), but you can purchase a new power brick here for a reasonable price, 700 baht for a Wii brick, for example. I'd bring them. The TV is probably best left at home, sell.gift/donate it and buy a new one here.
