My son has an Australian passport and it comes up for renewal in March. We want to travel before then so I want to renew it before it expires.

Does anyone know what is required to do this? I am guessing a trip to Bangkok is in order but I want to have all required documents needed before I fly down there to do it so I don't waste the trip.

The Embassy website has info on first applications only, not renewals.

I think it is pretty straight forward?

TIA

I am pretty sure all are counted the same first or renewal. You will definitely need the consent of anyone who potentially has an interest in your children.

Ok so it is the same as a first time application? Seems odd as it is just a renewal?

I am divorced but have custody, I guess that would take care of any consent issues?

Should probably call them.
