how do i get in Thailand Thai driver licence ( for car) ?

in pattaya?

is it hard to get?

how long does it take to have it in the hand ?

do they make any drive test or something like that ?

Got to to Land Transport Dept, it is located out on highway 36 behind Regents School.

is it hard to get?

No

how long does it take to have it in the hand ?

A few hours

do they make any drive test or something like that ?

If you do not have an IDP then they most probably will make you sit the theory test as well as a drive test.

You also need to make sure you have the correct paperwork -Proof of address from Immigration or yellow Tabien Ban. Medical certificatePhoto copies of passport photo page, visa page and your driving licence - if you forget you can get them done across the road in one of the little shops but it is easier to take them with you. There is a pinned thread at the top of the Motor forum you could have a look at but be aware that every DLT centre seems to do things differently so you will need to find a specific example from Pattaya. Better if you can speak Thai, or get someone who can, to ring up and take you through the specifics.
