I remember watching a hilarious music video a number of times on buses in Isaan, and I was hoping someone could jog my memory and tell me what the song is called and the name of the artist....

All I remember is that there were lots of music videos of this mustachioed guy playing guitar in the typical 90s Thai music rock style. Many of his videos were rather humorous but this one about som tum was particularly entertaining. Lots of lovely ladies seductively plonking away with their pestle and mortars....

I hope I'm not alone on this one.

It was off a TV show 5 or 6 years ago and starred a girl called Annie, I forget her real name but she was quite skinny and I had a huge crush on her (superfluous info there) and the show centred around their nightly resturaunt/show, featuring none other than som tum.

If this sin't the one you mean then have a look anyway, I still love it even after all these years.
