American praised for his actions during rescue of two Kittens in Sattahip

SATTAHIP:An American resident and a Buddhist Monk were involved in the successful rescue of two newborn Kittens close to a Temple in Sattahip District on Friday Afternoon.

The two kittens were heard yelping in a drainage pipe underneath the road by passers-by who attempted a rescue which was coordinated by Mr. Michael J Sutkay aged 63 and his wife, Khun Wannapa aged 56. The drain cover could not be removed so a piece of rope with a plastic bag containing cat food was lowered down and as soon as the kittens took the bate they were lifted up to the surface and pulled through the grill of the drain cover
