I don't visit this part of TV very often because I find it rather dull.

The first page goes back 2 weeks, so not many new topics are coming up.

Many are the same old ,same old threads about Politics, (which I find so so boring)

A few "old timers" have just voiced their opinion on another thread that not much is happening here of any great interest lately.

So what is the point of Bedlam.? There does not seem to be any issues that would not be at home in any other forum (OK threads can be non-Thai related, but they can also be in Farang, fun entertainment and nightlife thread).

As thetyme said "bring back tits" at least that made the forum interesting! :D

Could Admin/Moderators please re-explain the purpose of Bedlam as I feel that many Members get to that 500 post mark and are then pretty bored by what they are reading, (thats what happened to me-which is why I visit so rarely.

Of course I could be totally wrong and some may argue that it is the best sub-forum on the forum

So lets see, shall we have the 5 minute argument or the full half hour :o

Well...

That's strange, because This thread recently got closed for being non-Thai related, as you can see at the bottom.

But you're right, many threads in the Farang, fun entertainment and nightlife are non-Thai related and our favourite "Are Man United in decline?" thread couldn't be further from being Thai related! As are many other topics in the Sports forum.

Seems like the rules are a bit unclear, which forums are supposed to be strcitly Thai related and which aren't?

The sports forum has always been about general sport.If it was just about thai Sport, there wouldn't be too much to talk about. :o

Tp, I've only been in here 5 minutes so I can't speak with so much authoritiy but, by the way you guy's are talking its on its ass. Give some of the youths a chance, they might suprise you.

Don't think there's any chance of a replacement Moog though, think we've lucked out there....!

Without The Moog, the place is boring and it now seems that we can't talk about other things other than Thailand, which is not an incentive to post or start a thread.

I think the mods are trying to shutdown this place by changing the rules here. A lot of bannings and suspension recently over silly pretenses, go figure :o

It doesn't make members feel confortable and they don't post as much.

Difficult question Jai Dee, that is why I posted the topic, at least we can a lively debate about weather the forum is boring or not.

But what I would like to have clarification of (as I previously said) is what is Bedlam's purpose?

Just kidding, I know for *fairly* sure that everyone likes you and you are always welcome to make special appearences in any harem our cliqiue has going. Just bring some blood for Wolfie.

Seriously though, Bedlam can be fun and interesting at times. It depends though. For example. some people, (Tots, Myself, BKK, TBB, khall, bambi, icey, etc... ) we spend so much time flitting between msn mess, Yahoo mess, Skype, TV.com CHat, and posting on threads, that where's the time? I would be on more actually, but this past month or two have been busy at the bar, and the boss being away and all, I'm working triple shifts now every day... No brains left to come up with things worthy of bedlam.

Then you get a mod who, every now and then, when feeling depressed, drunk, miserable, or whatever, when in a bad mood, goes round deleting Bedlam threads for reasons best left on the main forum....

Ups and downs, Bedlam is going through a down at the moment, but that can only mean things will start to get better soon.

Short story of Bedlam (as I understand it).

Started out as an unmoderated forum only for specially invited people. Then called VIP forum. As is natural, once the people who were not invited found out there was a VIP forum, they felt slighted for not having been invited, and wanted to get in as well.

After some time and discussion, the rules were changed and it was decided that any user with 500 posts would automatically gain access to Bedlam (the name was changed to make it sound less elitist). This 500 post rule had the side effect of many posters trying to up their post count by any means possible, so a lot of drivel was/is posted just for the sake of getting more posts in order to get quicker access to Bedlam.

The Thaivisa football team was allowed access into Bedlam despite not having 500 posts.

have they got 500 goals at least?
