the South Side of the moat, aboout 2/3 of the way to the west side. On the land where they used to have the big tent with everything 20 thb. On the outside of the moat, close to the psychiatric hospital.

Ha ! Totally know it, just didn't know what it's called. 'Siam TV,' as it were, rings a bell. Thanks. Yeah, there was a thread on here about that ATM about 2 mo's ago. There was one poor fellow who kept striking out with it. Most seem to find it reliable and a good monetary deal.

i have used the AEON ATM 3 days ago and it worked just fine with my BofA debit card. 3000 THB withdrawal, still no additional 150 THB fee. BofA charged a solid interbank rate for that date plus their $5 ATM fee and a $0.92 conversion fee. I can live with that, esp. when cashing out the max. next time.

It is a very nice store. So clean and pleasant that I am surprised that they have tissue in the toilet. I guess they provide it for people with disgusting western "smeary" habits... ;-)
