Less Than B50 To Mfa/Immigration - For Cheap Charlies Only

Featured Replies

MRT to Bang Sue - train to Lak Si (B6) and walk **

BTS to Chatuchak - taxi to location. There should be B20 minivan to Chaeng Wattana my gf tells me.

Anyone provide bus connections (1) from above areas to Lak Si???

Chatuchak Park (BTS Station) bus 52 (white bus some of them have Immigration painted on their signs).

You don't say where you are coming from....(start point).

Get on a bus headed towards Chaeng Wattana from Victory monument. When the conductor comes along waiting for the fare, fumble in your bag rummaging around looking for change. Pass a few stops. Then, without paying, ask if the bus goes to Minburi, Silom, Sukhumvit or anywhere in the wrong direction. Pass another couple of stops whilst pretending not to understand the conductor. Ring the bell to get off just after you've passed another stop.

Repeat with the next 3-4 buses ad nauseam till you get to CW!!

Hey Presto, a free journey!!! thumbsup.gif

From Bang Sue MRT Station: https://maps.google....PsqYH4Bg&dtab=2

Can't find a BTS station named Chatuchak on the map.

JJ is actually on the MRT .... But Mo Chit is the 'interchange' and that's on the BTS ... most people use either but to be correct I suppose ... yes JJ is the MRT station and Mo Chit is the BTS station. The MRT goes on to Bang Sue and the BTS stops at Mo Chit.

Actually it would be more current to call the BTS Chatachak as that is where it actually is. Mochit was original bus station and has been closed for several decades - but the 'new' Mochit (Mochit 2) is on the other side of the park and nowhere near this BTS station. Suspect the only reason it was called Mochit is that original planning was to return bus station to that location - time has proven it unlikely to happen.

So MRT from Bang Sue to MRT Chatuchak Park, then walk to the exit for the market, the buses run from the side where the parks are to Immigration
