We have a small company that has not traded for several years... has no liabilities. We want to close it down. Advise on procedure appreciated.

Have been told that you have to advertise the coming closure for 2 years which sounds rather unrealistic.

And be preapared to pay a lawyer in the neighborhood of 25,000 THB for the privilege

I closed one a few years ago. About 30,000+. Cannot remember.

All taxes need to be up to date as well.

I did this in a few years ago, if you can find an accountant who works in the relevant office doing work as an accountant as a side line too its much easier and cheaper.! I paid about 10,000 and she dealt with it all..!! painless..and the news paper is a couple of months if memory serves me.

Company I work for, and is one of the sponsors of the Real Estate forum would do this kind of service. Not sure of the prices though.
