Passport Visa Stamp

Featured Replies

So I applied for my 1 year extension on 19 August (visa finishes Sept 19th)

The immigration office told me to come back and stamped my passport 19 October

All ok there

I am departing the country on 4 September and return on 10th September

My question is : On entry What date will be stamped............... Can stay until?

My guess, 19 October, if you obtain a re-entry permit.

I guess you applied for a 1 year extension based on Thai wife or child and are under consideration. With a re-entry permit you will be stamped in till 19 Oct, as that is your current permission to stay untill date.

Yup ^^^, but you must get a re-entry permit before leaving or you will have to start over on your return.

I have a re-entry permit already from my last 1 year extension, that too will run out 19 September

Now I have a new under consideration date will my re-entry extend to that?

No. A re-entry stamp is specific to the permitted to stay date when obtained. Once a new permitted to stay is obtained a new re-entry permit is required.
