I've been into a discussion with someone who told me that even looking for a job (e.g. attending interviews) requires a short-term (?) NON-B visa.

To myself, it sounds a bit strange because, for example, nothing is needed if you stay at home and conduct a phone interview from there.

Unfortunately, I failed to find any formal document answering my question.

Is there any document I can look into?

P.S. I'm sorry for my ignorance. Perhaps this question has been asked many times, but I simply couldn't figure out a good search query to answer myself.

You can go to as many interviews as you want. you can go for interviews on a holiday visa.

For the more common types of Non-imm B visa you have to have a job, and lots of documentation relating to that job, to apply. It would be a logical impossibility to get the visa before you have accepted job offer.

As stated, go to the interviews, get the job, and then get the visa, and then the Work Permit.

Off the top of my head: work, investment of 3 million Baht (no longer issued new), investment of 10 million Baht. There may well be others.

But these are reasons to be issued a non-imm B, not different types of Non-imm B

There are at least 3 - single entry and one year multi entry and three year.
