Rimmer Posted August 31, 2012 Share Posted August 31, 2012 City, PWA meet on water-shortage issue PATTAYA:--City council, Provincial Waterworks Authority and business leaders met to map out ways to prevent water scarcity in Pattaya neighborhoods. Deputy Mayor Verawat Khakhay chaired the Aug. 24 meeting with PWA Manager Araya Ngamwongwan, Dusit Thani Hotel General Manager Chatchawan Supachayanont, city council members and business people at city hall. Verawat said the city’s growing population continually presents challenges in providing tap water to everyone. While outright supply shortages are no longer a problem, the actual distribution system remains insufficient to serve every neighborhood without disruption.
