This week I visited my urologist at Bangkok Hospital Pattaya. He was more than willing to give me a prescription for ED drugs, but the prices at the hospital are astronomical. I know this might be harsh, but you sound like a new kid at school who nobody will talk to. Find ways to keep yourself occupied, and enjoy your own company first. Go to the bars where you feel comfortable on your own, with plenty of 'scenery' to keep your mind occupied. Get out to the countryside for regular breaks from the city. You'll pick up mates along the way over the months and years without trying. P.S. those guys bobbing up and down in the pool every day would aslo drive me nuts

Yes, they can, and that's no problem for me either. I transfer more than that per month anyway. Even with the 65k baht method, I still could not be bothered with the paperwork, and have always had the belief that the less dealings I have with any officials in Thailand the better, so I would still use an agent anyway.
