HI, I'm just in the process of renewing my British Passport and awaiting delivery of my new Passport from Hong kong.

I have a multi entry O visa based on marriage which i got from Savannaket, Laos.

How do i transfer this visa into new Passport. Can i do this by going to my local immigration office inside Thailand or do i have to go to Savannaket Laos.

Viss are not tranferred, only permissions of stay and extensions.

What you do when you leave is present both passports, and you do the same when re-entering for as long as the visa is still valid. Immigration will see the visa in the old passport and stamp you in with the new passport.

Only when you want to get a 1 year extension of stay do you need to visit your immirgation office to have details transferred, otherwise they will do it at the border.
