Mysterious death on Pattaya Beach close to Walking Street

Reports of a deceased man lying on the beach close to Walking Street in South Pattaya were received by Police early on Friday Morning.

Officers arrived and inspected the body of Khun Wiwongrat aged 50. He was clenching a packet of Paracetamol tablets and appeared not to have any visible injuries. Members of the public told Police that moments earlier he was seen in a seating area close to Public Toilets and a Tourist Information Center located close to the old Pier.

He appeared intoxicated and was seen to fall off a ledge onto the beach below, a fall of approximately 3 meters. The body will be sent for a Post Mortem Examination to confirm the exact cause of death which is unknown for now,
