PATTAYA:--A motorbike taxi driver was assaulted and robbed of his motorbike outside of an apartment complex in South Pattaya early on Friday morning.

The victim, Khun Siripong aged 25 confirmed the identity of the attackers accomplice as an acquaintance known as Khun Beer, who had previously borrowed money from him. She contacted Khun Siripong and asked to meet at the location so she could pay back the money. He arrived at the apartment complex and out of the darkness came a man, who was later identified as the boyfriend of Khun Beer.

He was carrying a piece of wood which he used to strike the taxi driver who fell to the floor and was forced to hand over his gold ring and key to his motorbike.
