Leaving Chiangmai early on the morning of Saturday the 22nd of this month. Will spend most of the day in Tatchilek and Mae Sai, and plan to overnight in Chiangrai on the Saturday night, and return to Chiangmai after breakfast on the Sunday morning. I did my 90 day run today

driving up took 1 hour longer than the last time

Standing water in the road up to 30 cm deep

flooding, and detereating road conditions as well as road repairs in no less than 6 areas, and 1 lane in some areas, mostly Chaing Rai and north of there,

At the boarder, it was quick, I was in and out in under 4 monutes total in all

They would have nothing to do with my $10 and said 500 Bt only on the Burma side

The little stream you cross over to get into burma is a raging river and many shops and places to eat are well under water

Drive extra safe, And enjoy your trip.
