Would the cost determine whether or not you got one?

maybe the OP will send it to Canada for friends to do, which is illegal as you must have a passport in Thailand to produce if asked.

lolll Beano no I phone Thursday and i ask here for the cost of the passport of 24 pages and she told me a minute and a woman told me to leave my phone number and she never called me back

ok Thanks all annyway im going to bangkok to renew my passport next week i remember 5 years a go the cost of 48 pages was 5000 baht

Correct, it is kind of a necessity regardless the cost.

one would think should be same as prices in canada no?

It's a shame you need to get a new one now, the 10 year passport is scheduled for release in March/April, but you'll need a new passport for your trip to the RP as you require 6 months validity.

Kick ass! I never knew they were going to offer 10 year passports. Good timing too, as my passport doesn't expire until 2014.
