You can get a 60 day extension to visit your wife at immigration (1900 baht).

You will need copies of your passport photo page, visa,entry/permit to stay stamp and TM6 departure card. Copy of marriage certificate, wife's ID and house book. You wife will need to go with you to immigration. Completed TM7 form with attached photo.

If you can prove income of 40K baht or have 400K baht in bank for 2 months you could get a 1 year extension.

It will not be a problem for a 60 day extension or even a one year your wife's house book does not have to be for where you are actually living. They might ask for some proof of address in Pattaya which could even be a hotel receipt or rental agreement if you are living in Pattaya.
