Jayman
Yes, the aeropress does use a paper filter that is supposed to filter out some of the bad oils in coffee. In fact, Starbucks have switched to paper filters for this reason. As for the Cafestol, doesn't that sound like a good thing and not a harmful thing or am I reading the wiki wrong? jbrain
Spend the $25 and get yourself one of these http://www.amazon.co...words=aeropress you will not regret it. Looks like a nice machine but I will have to stay with my drip brewer . i am concerned about cafestol. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cafestol inhibiting cancer and Parkinson's? YES PLEASE! Bit off topic, but you probably realise that it's better to suffer from Alzheimer than Parkinson's....................I rather forget paying for my beer than push it over. For those heavy consumers, don't despair, coffee is now considered healthy: http://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2012/09/16/coffee-health-benefits.aspx?e_cid=20120916_SNL_ArtNew_1

wpcoe
Coffee won't keep me from sleeping either. However, coffee has a laxative effect on me, so I usually don't go directly to bed after imbibing coffee.
frodo77
I have 2 cups right after I wake up - made from fresh roasted beans in my Saeco Super Automatic. Coffee also has a laxative effect for me, which helps keep me regular. Now if I could just find somewhere to buy raw unprocessed honey I would be in heaven.
