Good isn't it.

The economy is growing, Thailand is not on a war footing with the neighbours, there is a higher minimum wage, students have opportunity to learn with computers, a social security system that seems to work, the stock market is up, there is high Japanese investor confidence, there is huge Thai investment in Burma, there are still no casinos ( other than those operated by the police ) and there is an acceptable approval rating from the public.

Contrast that with the previous 5 years.

sounds perfect - maybe exactly what we are all supposed to believe, now the aggressors are in charge.

Like I said, good isn't it !!

Excuse me this question, but did someone already forward the TRCT report to the ICC ?

Extremely Doubtful.

According to Red Shirt "international counsel" R.Amsterdam, the TRCT report is full of lies.

His own black paper will have to suffice as the only truthful report for the ICC.

Quite so. Maybe its because Yingluck has been chairing committees and getting things done 'hands-on' rather than wasting time playing word games in parliamentary debates. With more and more stories of corrupt cops and officials coming under the spotlight, it feels like things indeed are improving under this government, and that there is hope that those responsible for 2010 (apart from the ones already locked up) will be brought to book.

If there was a general election tomorrow, the winner would be......

1. Is the economy growing? whose figures do you believe, and even if it is, who is it growing for the betterment of, certainly not the man behind the plough.

2. Thailand is not on a war footing with neighbouring countries (by this I assume you mean Cambodia) because despots hug each other, look further south.

3. What percentage of the workers of this country are actually in receipt of this minimum wage promise.

4. A social security system, yes there is one, if your job requires you to wear a uniform, other than that, no, not worth much at all.

5. Stock markets and reported investor confidence are seldom a true reflection of reality.

The only thing you said that has any credibility is about the only casinos are owned by the police, and that's a good thing for Thai society, yes?

Oh, forgot one, that learning with computers thing, this was meant to be rolled out by province alphabetically, which alphabet?

Buriram must start with a Z then.
