When ever I post or reply to a topic I am unable to use the Bold/underline, add emoticons or any other things that are immediately above my post.

Can someone enlighten me as to how I can do this please.

I have gone to the help section but no joy. Went into my settings and cannot find anything to allow me to change to 'rich' text.

In the top left corner of the reply box is a grey symbol that looks like a light switch. It toggles on/off the editing options that let you add in these things.
