October 2, 201213 yr This stuff is very common. On my white car it leaves a yellowish tint after I wash it off. Wait a few days and it disappears, I'm guessing the sun bleaches it. I thinks its some type of pollen.
October 2, 201213 yr I have the same stuff from time to time on my car and on my bike, I always thought it was bird crap.

October 2, 201213 yr Author more than likely bee poo. Yellow, waxy. You're spot on! waynesword . palomar . edu / beepoo1 . htm (remove spaces and type it in your browser address bar and hit enter) ...looks like you guys know your s..t ...it must be it! Thanks for a quick respond... (it looks like that stuff on the BMW photo) "Honey bees do not discriminate between the brand of cars. This BMW was parked in the front parking lot at Palomar College."
October 2, 201213 yr You guys certainly know your sh*t ! What I want to know is, how do the bee's excrete "it" into the atmosphere so that it falls onto all the forum Members Mercs and Beemers.
October 2, 201213 yr topic title is straight to the point. Yeah and what is your point?? well... my point now is for you to lighten up and grow a sense of humour.
October 3, 201213 yr Author ...going back to the topic...I've mention that I came home and washed the car right the way yesterday ... and it came off easy...well,this morning I've noticed, that there is still some yellowish stains left over...hope it will "bleach out" after few days, like the other poster mentioned... ...funny,we were the only car parked there at that moment...those bees can aim pretty good at the single target Edited October 3, 201213 yr by funcat
October 3, 201213 yr yes they do fade out, but at least they don't craze the paint, which sea gull c..p does! Moral: don't park near a bee hive as they unload excess cargo as they come or go.
October 3, 201213 yr Author Thanks 'masuk'....always good to learn something new ...and apologies to those who found this topic different than they were hoping for
October 3, 201213 yr Thanks 'masuk'....always good to learn something new ...and apologies to those who found this topic different than they were hoping for When we first moved here we lived near a couple of hives and it was almost to the point where we were going to get a yellow car! But yes it does fade. Currently pigeon cr-p is a problem and tyou have to get that off quick!
October 3, 201213 yr In Thailand, gum of mango tree, gum of pollen (flowers), gum of other trees,…are the reason of yellow scratch on the car, there are many way to clean it; - vegetable oil (use cotton with vegetable oil, let stay 5-10 minutes then wash it normal) - turpentine - bug and tar remover (Maquiar's) http://www.meguiars.com/en/automotive/products/g10716-gold-class-bug-n-tar-remover/ - Carglo http://shop.konlakarn.com/product.php?id_product=22
October 4, 201213 yr I guessed moth poo - but have been corrected, it seems it is bees! Looking at the size of the poo I think I am half correct - surely a "beeamoth" of a creature?
