I know this has nothing to do with this sad terrible situation, but I personally think that the link posted here on YouTube is just a terrible. I actually stumbled across this a few weeks ago, it is a toddler who is / was addicted to smoking, the baby smokes up to 40 smokes per day. The good thing about this is that the baby has been, as they call it, weened off smoking now, but to sad thing is how much damage has been cause this baby already and the parents just sit around thinking it is great... another disgusting thing sick.gif

I hope they find these animals and execute them. What a disgusting thing to submit a child to - this goes well beyond sensibility and understanding.

I have never seen or heard that animals commit such atrocities. Only humans do. Hope they find the culprits soon and charge them with everything the Thai Penal Code has to offer in cases like this and let them rot in jail. Really hope that the child will get all the help it needs to overcome this abuse.

Go up country a bit and you can hear some rather sad stories. Heard an account the other day of an entire hill tribe family that would "smoke a pill" as it is called after every meal. Kids seven years old and up doing it 3-4 times a day, every day.

The article states the girls physical condition reflects extensive use of yaba.

Nobody could do this to a child surely, I really hope this is just a sick joke.

they have only seen the pic too, pure hyberbole on his part.

why would a meth addict get a 2 year old hooked so that they would then have to buy more for the kid...

i mean meth addicts are known to be crazy but that takes the biscuit.

of course that's just pure hyberbole on my part too. smile.png

Why does everyone get so upset on a small prank clap2.gif

Prank or not this shows the lack of ability of these ppl to raise this child. I think you are seeing much OUTRAGE from parents at just viewing a picture of a young child with speed smoking paraphernalia in her face.

Whether the child smoke the amphetamine or not is beyond the point. It's the exposure to this lifestyle that is very worrisome.

That you seem to condone this "prank" will make me think twice about ever responding to your questions on TVF again.

Another reminder that Thailand is still a 3rd world country and from what I see it's not going to change soon coffee1.gif

Well it won't change while people are putting hand claps about this being a 'small prank'. Do you find it funny?

I'm coming to the conclusion that if there was a list of the top 10 F**ked up countries Thailand would be somewhere close to the top of the list .......if that picture is genuine my heart bleeds for that poor child 2 yrs old and will be lucky to reach 3 yrs old

Ummm.. If you judged the sensational news stores, surely the USA would have to top the list, nobody has more crazy things going on on a daily basis.

There is also the chance it was contrived, i.e. posed. It wouldn't be the first time.

I really don't spend alot of time having my 5 year old pose with a joint, though she does light my cigarettes for me.

I think you need to have limits.

You should be ashamed of yourself.

A father should be a role model. Acting in a way that a child would think it is not stupid to willfully breathe cancer causing garbage, is not appropriate. If you care to do this drug, the number one killer now, do it privately pls.

I used to let my niece roll my ciggies back home, she loved to do it but there was no way I would let her take a toke, at least not before she is old enough, 12yo seems like the right time for me thumbsup.gif

My point is that is is very unappropriate for a father to ask a child to light up a cigarette for any adult, who could be a role model for that child.

Perhaps this adult is not a stupid person, but smoking is a stupid thing to do.

The point is that why on earth would you think it was ok to have your child pose with drug paraphernalia or cigarettes. This send the child the wrong message that to use such things is amusing to their top role model..ie Their parents. Is this the kind of activity you want your children to take part it to get you to give them positive attention? I would much rather read books to my kids and show them that them reading is something a appreciate and they will gets lots of positive attention from me for doing such activities.

Holy crap. I'm speechless. Angry if this is in fact real. And just as angry if it's a staged act to think people would think it's even entertaining or funny.

A giant <deleted> moment.

I think it speaks volumes on the character of the posters here that find this amusing.

there is a very large difference from finding the righteous indignation of a sheltered and humourless group of old men amusing, over being amused by any adult that would corrupt or harm a child in this way.

Perhaps it is time to untwist those knickers, take a step back and understand that NOBODY condones this and that getting shrill and passing judgement over an offhand remark on the interweb is utterly pointless.

Are you speaking on everyone's behalf now?

Certainly whomever took and posted the photo condones it. And those that find it amusing and thing it's a great laugh condone it.

And I will stick by my previous comment. "I think it speaks volumes on the character of the posters here that find this amusing."

I am no way amused with this photo nor of the video of the kid

in Indonesia...in fact it pisses me off...simple as that.

I have a friend who "Chases the Dragon" very often. His

excuse..."more bang for the buck"....which is what is

portrayed in the photo of the young girl...straw in her mouth,

spoon or tinfoil with the dope on it being heated to give off

the dope's smoke then inhaled through the straw by the little girl.

This is sick shit and quite frankly I relate it to child pornography.

My friend who chases the dragon is 50 years old; he can make

up his own mind when he's straight...this kid can't.

Sip satang from me again.
