Looking to buy some Ikea furniture but don't fancy driving down to Bangkok. Are there any companies who can buy and deliver it for me? I want to get an expedit bookcase in birch effect 185cm x 185cm.

They deliver nation wide now. We checked there the other week. Its about 10k for a high pick-up. Forget how many q's.

Doen't IKEA ship anywhere in Thailand? I would be surprised if they don't. I used to buy everything from IKEA when I lived in the Czech Republic. They delivered beds and furniture, etc. and on smaller items they shipped them by trucking company.

Are you sure they now deliver? I checked their Bangkok website today and it looks like they only deliver to areas around there. Can you help me find the info by sending a link? Thanks

I think I saw a service advertised on Craigslist that picks up and delivers outside of Bangkok.

They deliver throughout the country, but they're not cheap outside of Bangkok.

BTW, you can also put it on the train.

There is an IKEA catalog, but maybe not in English.

IKEA sure lose a lot of business not having an outlet in the north.

I'll be picking up a heap of smaller items when I'm in Perth next week! No, no cupboards or book cases!
