New Storm Due Soon--Tropical Depression 'gaemi'

At 16.00 LST, on 7 October 2012, tropical depression "GAEMI" was centered at Siem Reap, Cambodia with maximum sustained wind about 50 km./hr. It was moving west with speed of 18 km/hr.

     The storm is expected to hit Sa Kaeo province tonight and head to the lower Central before becoming the low pressure cell. Torrential rain is likely with isolated heavy to very heavy rain and windy.

     - During 7-8 October, it directly affects the following provinces: Nakhon Ratchasima, Chaiyaphum, Phetchabun, Prachin Buri, Sa Kaeo, Nakhon Nayok, Chachoengsao, Chon Buri, Rayong, Chanthaburi, Trat, Nakhon Sawan, Uthai Thani, Chai Nat, Lop Buri, Saraburi, Suphan Buri, Sing Buri, Ang Thong, Ayutthaya, Nakhon Pathom, Samut Sakhon, Samut Songkham, Bangkok and Vicinity, and indirectly affects Kanchanaburi, Ratchaburi, Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Ranong, and Phang-nga.
