October 12, 201213 yr I just bought a Microsoft bluetooth keyboard, the directions say when you turn it on the "The battery indication light glows green then blinks and red ad green to show the device is discoverable". This isn't happening, the light glows green for a few seconds then goes off, I have switched batteries, but it makes no difference. Any ideas? Thanks.
October 13, 201213 yr Do you have bluetooth enabled? Go to Start, type ,Services,, click on Services, look for Bluetooth..., R-click then select start. You should also be able to get it to start automatically using a sequence of L & R clicks. Good luck, AA

The lights don't flash on the keyboard as the instructions describe, so I', wondering if there's a problem with the unit?
October 13, 201213 yr Can you beg/borrow/steal another BlueT device (mouse etc.) to check your machine is talking the blueT tongue?. Or a trip back to the vendor may have to be on the agenda... AA
