3Bb Adsl Internet Password Ppp

The old router is getting a bit troublesome so i bought a new router only i dont have the password. Not the password to get into the router but the other one. Is it possible to get it out of the old router ?

You should have a contract letter from 3BB with the configuration information in it. If not, just put your old router back on and connect to it through a web browser and the information will be there. Make sure to write down the other settings also such as PPoE and a couple of others. I did it that way when I bought a new router.

Problem is the old router has its password encrypted. I did get the user name ect.

I tried routerpassview did not work for pantsoff i did not find the software just some other funny things. Thanks for trying to help, looks like i will have to go to 3bb later on. They wanted me to go to the big 3bb shop 20km from here. Would have been better if one of the smaller shops close by could have helped.

Snadboy's Revelation (yes, a weird name) is a free utility I've used several times for exactly this purpose.

Thanks, for some reason it does not work i go over the text with the crosshairs and i get nothing. Too bad for me means ill have to go 3bb later on.

The small 3BB shops should be able, to get you a copy of the username/password sheet. It's in the system, they can print it out!

Is the contract on your name, and they were knowing your telephone number?

I have no idea, i just called her and she was as supprised as me that they gave me the information. She was quite happy too as it saved her a trip. Now that i know their English support is up to par i won't let her call again.
