This seems the most relevant forum for my question but apologies if I've go that wrong.

Is it possible to apply for a Thai passport in Udon Thani & if so where ?

I've searched the internet & found recent posts on other forums that said you can apply in Udon Thani but then I looked at the MFA website & there is no mention of Udon Thani on there plus it is not listed as one of the temporary passport offices. My wife said some of her family did passport applications in Udon in April this year but I just wanted to make sure before we head into Udon later today.

Udon Thani has a passport office in a separate building on the City Hall compound, easy to be done and send home by EMS within one week.

Thanks for the reply. Any idea why the MFA website doesn't mention Udon ?

It may be only a mobile unit with limited operating times? Khon Kaen still appears to be the serving office for Udon per

The office did'nt look mobile at all

Rather similar to the Khon Kaen office which my wife used before.

its called SARAKRANG YANG WAT most thai,s know where that is near to main post office oppersite

the law courts ....
