I say this because it seems that the only people that come on here are low-class people that drink Chang and hang around girlie bars.In fact,if a thread has no mention of either it is normally over in 2-3 pages,whereas if it does it goes on for 10 pages plus!

It seems to be full of people who came from a Western country,expecting to step off the plane in wife beaters and thongs and be instantly offered the post of CEO at a multinational corporation.Despite being nothing more qualified or exciting than a fork-lift driver in their previous existence!

The fact that it doesn’t happen mean they fall into the nearest bar,find a prostitute to marry,move to Isaan and build a house,then come onto this website to complain about their miserable lives!

The threads seem to grind along over and over again,re-hashing the same old stereotypes and bashing the locals,who are guilty of nothing more than being excellent hosts to these world-weary ne’er-do-wells!

Maybe it’s time to think about opening a Thai Visa Gold or Platinum website,where proof of a certain level of income or education is necessary to be able to log on?

What's wrong with forklift drivers? Smiths aren't that much further up the ladder.

Thailand does tend to attract people from lower socio-economic backgrounds, often attracted by cheap alcohol and women. I suspect those expats who work here on genuine international type packages have little interest in websites like thai visa which tend to cater to the former crowd.

I am, of course, one of the lower socio-economic types myself, hence my presence.

Its a fair point, well to do, educated people don't drink, do drugs or engage in sexual activity do they?
