Mother Brings Son's Dead Body To Police Headquarters To Demand Justice: Bangkok

Featured Replies

The police here make me sick!! In 3 years I've only ever had one problem when I jumped upon and had the crap kicked out of me (I was neither drunk nor up to no good)... they just dismissed me and told me to let them know if they guy came back.... on that day, not a single s*** was given

What, have I got this wrong? One Thai guy beating up a Farang, where were th other five?

Beating him up was not enough? They ha d to slit his throat too? What sort of 'bouncers' are these animals?

Bouncers are Bouncers the world over. Thugs and low IQ, many of them. So bad, that some countries try to regulate that job by introducing basic legal standards.

The slightest provocation and they dont have sense to calm a situation, their first reaction is a violent response.

Not only the bouncer should be brought to justice, but the Club owners too.

If someone hires a killer, they share the guilt.

Again posters damning the police to all hell with no evidence or even the beginning of a reason in this case.

Once again any Thai reading this thread would get an immediate sense of disdain for their nation based on supposition.

They arrested the two other guys already and got confessions but the main guy obviously holed up.

Back home they always get a fugitive in a week?

Whinge whinge boring boring if you do something about the failings of the police or even make constructive comments (yes we actuully got one about the press reporting thankyou, I live in hope it was followed by a letter to the newspapers) let me know.......if you can raise yourselves from your armchairs.

Did you follow the story at all? The police & night-club owner did nothing until the mother paraded her son's body outside the police headquarters. This is what low-so Thais have to do to get the BIB off their collective <deleted> because they don't have money to pay the police to do their job.

This is another example of a totally corrupt police station - Sri Nakarin - following on from Thong Lo (the Ferrari hit-&-run) & Lumphini (team to 'investigate' Abhisit accusing Thaksin). My local police station - Phra Khanong - specialises in monthly tea-money extortion next to On Nut BTS station (I've watched them in operation).

Only when ordinary Thais go to extraordinary lengths - like this brave lady - will the police act when so doing might affect their rake off from the quasi-legal (or illegal) businesses in their area.

The Thai police vie with the politicians in the corruption gold medal stakes.

Sad story but I am sure there are facts that we do not know.
