You can find a black and decker copy of a Dremel in many larger hardware stores here, but the attachments are very limited. Mostly you will find different shaped pink grinding attachments. I buy 1/8" rotary tool accessories in Canada for mine, but I am always looking for a Thai shop that has them.

Monty where are you? Any large hardware store like Global should have something. The most common is a small chuck mounted on a flexible shaft connected to a bench mounted motor. Good ones have a foot control which frees up a hand. They also are a bit slower than Dremel so better for plastic.

1/8 or 1/4 bits can be found in abundance in the Klong Thom auto accessory/hardware etc, market.

Carbide cutters. I only have 2 with me and I want more as they are very handy. Can get 1/8" and 1/4" shank. They are used in cleaning up plastic dies so I am assuming many industrial supply shops will sell them.
