Yes, but not online.

so i can go into any kasikorn branch and transfer back from there

Do you have the swift code for your home bank?

Yes, but not online.

Yes you can onlune. It is under Fund transfer in the left hand side. For example to transfer to a US bank the cost is 300 thab plus and extra 800thb. the later amount varies by country. You can transfer up to 1 million THB.

Be aware for all but trivial amounts you may need to provide proof that the money you're sending out was brought in from outside Thailand, or provide proof you earned it here legally combined with an acceptable-to-them reason for sending it (payment of bills back home, supporting family members, etc.)

And don't get upset at the Thais for these requirements, blame our own world-police home governments - Thailand's failure to properly police money laundering is why the country's currently blacklisted.

yes, that is why I know it is there. But you do have to fill out the required information on-line,print out the form, take it to customer service of your K-Bank and the account you want to transfer to will be on-line after a couple of working days. It will remain on-line for two years and then you will have to do the process all over again.

Yes, you can do it onlune, or even online, you have to register for the service first by downloading form and taking them to a Kasikorn Bank, with supporting documents. https://ebank.kasikornbankgroup.com/retailstatic/security/IFT_Request_Form_eng.htm

I have transferred funds from a Kasikorn branch to the UK, and was amazed at how many hoops I had to jump through in branch, and later by telephone from their Head Office.

Since I'm out of the country over 50% of the time my wife does a monthly transfer for me from our joint Thai acc to my uk bank acc,, kasikorn ask each time for a signed photocopy of the recipient's acc holders passport plus a completed "global outward application" slip along with her id, depending which branch in the town she goes to,she's occasionally been asked for a copy of marriage cert (no idea why),,, would have preferred to have set up automatic transfer,, but that doesn't seem to be an option where we live, FYI we're in a non tourist area.
