Money stolen from Donation Box at Banglamung Hospital

PATTAYA:--Police were called to the Banglamung Hospital in the early hours of Thursday to investigate claims that a donation box to raise funds to purchase new medical equipment for the Hospital had been broken-into.

Police examined the box which appeared to have been moved to a secluded area of the Hospital to avoid detection by security guards. Ironically, the first person to find the box was a security guard, Khun Pranom aged 34, who told Police that the box is normally located in front of the Pharmacy, which closes at 10pm. The area would have been empty and the building would have been locked down.

It is thought those responsible hid inside the building until it closed and then proceeded to break-into the box and break out of the building which activated the door alarms.
