Went recently to their office for a 90 day and an exit-reentry. I had prepared the 90 days at home but still needed to complete the exit-reentry document.

The place was moderately crowded: 10 to 15 people. Some sitting at the front of officer's desks, some sitting on chairs in a waiting area. They do not have a queuing system and I was wondering how they would manage.

Got an empty document from a rack and was immediately joined by a young woman asking what I needed. I told her and she took the filled out 90 day, the empty exit/reentry document, the passport photo I brought with me and the 1,000 bath fee, invited me to sit down in the waiting area and went to her desk. I couldn't believe my eyes. What a good service.

I just sat down and another officer, looking up from his work, asked me if I needed help. Within two minutes two other officers asked me if they could help me. Unbelievable, and all that with a smile and a friendly voice.

Later the young woman came to me and asked to sing some photocopies she made.

Within half an hour I was out.

Frankly, it is a pleasure to go to that office. They're doing a superb job.

Sing praises takes a new meaning with typo's?

asked to sing some photocopies

Good to see such positive reporting when good service is obtained - we tend to express negative feelings on forums - although in most cases it is a tiny minority of cases that are really in that category.

Well, here's a 90-day report report from Sam Koke, Pathum Thani, from a friend who was due yesterday, Monday:

"My 90 day was due today. Got to Immigration at about 1420. M said we were out in less than a minute but I really think it was closer to 2 minutes."
