I work with a lot of Filipino teachers. They tell me there is a restaurant in town that a lot go to. Not sure what kind of people you're looking to hang out with. By the way, you're not an ax murderer are you?

There used to be an American company whose offices were in one of the buildings at Kad Suan Kaew. They employed a large number of Filipinos. Many of them stayed in the apartment building just behind KSK and they often met in the coffee area at KSK near the food court, behind the Indian curry shop where all the tables are. I was friends with one but his contract was up and he returned to the Philippines about 2 years ago. Not sure if the company is still in there.
