Rimmer Posted November 8, 2012 Posted November 8, 2012 Tesco-Lotus Cashier suspected of stealing money from store in Sattahip SATTAHIP:--A cashier working for a Tesco-Lotus store in Sattahip was arrested on Tuesday, accused of stealing over 5,000 Baht’s worth of takings from the store. Police were contacted by Khun Nuanjan aged 35, the Deputy Manager of the store on Tuesday afternoon. She claimed that one of her cashiers, Khun Kanokporn aged 26, had left with the money before the end of her shift. Police managed to locate the woman who was with her boyfriend at the time. A search of a bag revealed the cash, which was suspected of being stolen from the store. Everyone involved in the incident were taken to Sattahip Police Station where the suspect confessed to stealing 5,090 Baht but claimed her boyfriend was not aware of her actions. She told Police that urgent family problems required her to send money to them as quickly as possible which is why she decided to steal the cash.
