Maccas Drive Throughs In Los

Featured Replies

McDonalds Drive-Throughs are popping up everywhere it seems. I love them. I know many people hate the green pickers gherkin, but I reckon it is the best bit on a cheeseburger and Big Mac, Thai gherkins are saltier than German ones to me, that makes them tastier.

The McThai Drive Through in Pattaya is great, where else in the world get you get such great good looking “company” to keep you warm on the sofa that your friends are envy of back home and a Big Mac with Cheese at the same time ???

Amazing Pattaya – that is where.giggle.gif

The Drive through with the "works" !!!!! cheesy.gifcheesy.gifcheesy.gif

We are so lucky with cheap McDonalds in Thailand. Interesting cost compassion.

KFC Thai prices are almost the same as western prices though, Shame on you KFC.

A WEAK currency, despite its appeal to exporters and politicians, is no free lunch. But it can provide a cheap one. In China, for example, a McDonald's Big Mac costs just 14.5 yuan on average in Beijing and Shenzhen, the equivalent of $2.18 at market exchange rates. In America, in contrast, the same burger averages $3.71.

No drive through liquor shops yet though....

Is Australia the only country to have them?

In Bangkok, the only drive-through I've been to is on Rama 4, intersection of Sukhumvit 22/24. Are there others? I haven't seen one outside BKK, though I'm not a frequent visitor.

subtle advert for a flower shop is subtle.

We have them in Texas... they pretty much have them here but they are simply curbside pickup for all of those wholesale liquor and beer places. I'm sure they'll sell to you @retail if they understand what you're saying.

:)

Even better is ring the mom and pop store and they deliver.

Ive seen here in Australia a place called Pizza Pub. As the name suggests they deliver pizza and booze. Great idea!

Well I suppose if you are going to bloat out on that stuff you might as well as well also avoid the effort of having to actually walk into the place.

McDonalds isn't cheap in Thailand, the Big Mac is one of the few items that is cheaper. You can get a McDouble, which is a Double Cheeseburger but with only 1 slice of cheese, for only 30 B in the US. In Thailand that only gets you a wimpy single patty hamburger, no cheese! Double Cheeseburger US is $1.29, in Thailand almost $3. McChicken in the US is 30 B, in Thailand 71 B! They don't even have quarter pounders here but I know they'd be a lot more expensive too.
