Ive seen widely vulnerable tourists in pattaya to pay as high as 100 baht per piece...

I never pay more than 10baht.

I had some guy ask for 20 baht around Sukhumvit So7 and I just laughed. He then laughed and said 10baht.

They typically adjust the portion size, as market prices fluctuate, to insure a 10 baht/pc price, for locals, for pineapple/watermelon and some others. Other fruits, some of which cannot be portioned can be 15 or even 20 baht/pc. Canteloupe and (ripe) papaya seem to be 15 or 20 baht/pc, at least that's what I've seen Thais paying.
