Looking For Housing Villages In Bangkok

Featured Replies

Afternoon all,

After a couple of years in good ol' Pattaya we (my family) have decided that enough is enough and we will be moving back to near civilisation next year, we previously lived in bkk for several years so know the score so to speak.

Thing is we want a house, not a condo....I am not aware of any Moo baans in bkk, and I have looked at some property agents websites but really can't see that much.

Obviously what with the BTS extension finally complete and the subway and airport link there are more choices to live now without being too far of the beaten track.

I am not a tv member that lives on 35k a month so happy to spend good money on a nice 3 bed house in a secure estate, preferably in recent builds, not old houses, maybe looking at around 30k a month for rent.

I like the Lumpini area but not too fusssed as long as it's in a decent area etc..

Appreciate any advice on this.

I don't think your budget of 30K would be enough to have a decent, newish 3 bedroom house in Central Bkk (you mentioned Lumpini). I stay in a housing village near Suvarnabhumi and a typical 3 bedroom house with a garden costs about 30k. These are recent builds, not old houses, with clubhouse facilities, gated community etc

Ok, thanks for the feedback.

Generally houses are cheaper than condos, hence I thought 30k was reasonable.

Maybe have a look through prakard.com? All in Thai but Google Chrome with Translate can help, scroll down to detached house/twin-house and/or town-house/town-home.
