TC,read the article you linked again and stop weeping. It basically says the Cruze is a good car (apart from engine fires) but the Focus and Mazda 3 are as good or better (in Canada). Chev sell a lot of Cruze's but not the best selling in the world. It was about number 7 early this year. Are you on Chevs payroll or what?

I think TC needs some English comprehension lessons (certainly hope he doesn't teach English at school!!). The article makes no claims about the Cruze being the best selling car in the world, the article just says "Chevy’s best-selling car around the world", which if I need to explain means that it is the best sellng car that wears a Chevy badge.

The title of best selling car in the world is still being hotly debated between the Corolla and Focus, and no, neither of these are manufactured by Chevy.

if they make a station wagon version, I may get one :D Looking into the older Optra... Dunno why, always loved wagons, the seating of a sedan with the practicality of a hatchback, what's not to love?

I got nothing against the Cruze....but I doubt I would go and buy one when there are so many other choices.

So for 2012 it sold 350,000 units through to the middle of July if I'am reading that article correctly, almost 140,000 less than the Focus (and 122000 less than the Corolla).

How does this make it the best selling car ?

he seems to be very happy with his cruze, think he rather likes it.

Obviously not. He is about to throw it away because service at Chevrolet is disastrous. See his other thread...

Reading a number of posts by OP about the Cruz, i can not help but wonder if it is the first car he ever owned.

Putting aside all the posts and threads about it, he makes a youtube video of "me driving my cruz" which basically shows the road.

Obsessed is not the right word to use in this case, me thinks

My Thai neighbour has recently bought a Cruze and is bitterly regretting having done so. His major complaint is the lag between stepping on the gas and the shit awful auto box responding. You are having to anticipate and compensate for a quite dangerous delay in your driving input.

Apart from that, get a life and leave us all in peace about this mediocre and bland middle of the road, unimaginative, soulless box you call a Cruze.
