Looking For Calander Of Thai Holidays

Featured Replies

i have been looking for a calander that shows thai holidays next year.

Govt , buddist and any other holidays they have thanks

Try the Thaivisa one...

Don't know if this will help, I am sure Tywais will be putting up the 2013 holidays in a pinned topic in General topics before the New Years, like he did last year:

Public Holidays 2012

Keep an eye on the pinned topics in General before the New Year.

Also this site's got a downloadable iCal file (.ICS) you can incorporate into most modern calendaring software, including Apple's Outlook and google.

Hasn't been updated recently for the more obscure moon-based ones, some of those are hard to nail down more than a few months in advance.

Check with your local bank, they should have them. smile.png

I googled "Buddhist holidays". Doing this in English yields mostly sites which will tell you the holidays in the "northern" branch of Buddhism (sorry, I've forgotten its proper name), not the Theravada, or "southern" branch which prevails in Thailand. The northern branch seems to have one or two more holidays, and the romanization of names can vary a bit from website to website. But, if you take the current yr's. Thai calendar, you should be able to figure out next yr's. holidays here.

Doesn't have the tricky ones.
