I notice no one mentioned, the start of movies being made in Thailand

so for the history books, the first Hollywood Movie made in Thailand was a silent, B/W Movie filmed in 1922 and released in 1923, it was called Miss Suwanna of Siam

parts of the film are now kept in the Museum in Bkk

Medallion Jackie Chan was filmed in Thailand

when they filmed the last of the Rambo movies, they where so close to Burma, the Burma soldiers tried to scare the film crew away by firing over the heads of the film crew

they movie that started in Issan and told the story of a young girl conned into a job in Bangkok

and ended up working in a bar as a prostitute

But not for the light hearted as the film deals heavenly into Thai evil spirits and revenge
